By creating an account or using TonePrep, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

TonePrep provides AI-assisted guitar tone suggestions for worship musicians based on gear profiles and setlists you provide. Suggestions are educational and advisory — not professional audio engineering advice. You are responsible for how you use settings on stage and in rehearsal.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TonePrep. If you are under 18, you should use the service with a parent or guardian's permission.

Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate account information.
  • You may not share your account or use the service for unlawful purposes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access other users' data or bypass security measures.
  • Abuse the AI generation feature (automated scraping, excessive requests, etc.).
  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
  • Reverse engineer or resell the service without permission.

AI-generated content

Tone suggestions are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always use your judgment and test tones in your actual worship environment. We do not guarantee any particular musical or technical result.

Intellectual property

TonePrep, its branding, and software are owned by us. You retain ownership of the content you create (gear lists, setlists, notes). You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the service.

Free service

TonePrep is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid features in the future with advance notice. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TONEPREP AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
